An out of the blue opportunity to spend the summer of 1995 in a beach house led to the purchase of a Tesoro Silver Sabre II metal detector, and a metal detecting journey began. Since then, Brian has founded a club at the high school where he's taught for over 20 years, written multiple articles for the now defunct Western & Eastern Treasures magazine, published a book on metal detecting, taught metal detecting classes to teen and adult learners, and has been guiding clients on metal detecting hunts in the field. We like to call them "Dirt Fishing Adventures."
